Recommended Lock for a 2-5/16" Dexter/UFP CD-200 Coupler

Updated 06/11/2026 | Published 06/10/2026

Question:

I need a trailer hitch lock for a Dexter C200 2-5/16 ball. You show a unit for A-60 Dexter. Will it work on the C200? Or what do you suggest?

Unfortunately, it will not Bryce but I do have one that will. For the Dexter/UFP CD-200 Coupler item # DX33CR, you'll need the InfiniteRule Trailer Coupler Lock item # IR63FR. This lock is going to surround your 2-5/16" coupler and secure below with keyed unique hitch pin. The bracket expands to fit up to 4-1/2" wide couplers so it'll work great with the CD-200 Coupler item # DX33CR.

The InfiniteRule Trailer Latch Lock for Dexter A-60 Trailer Coupler item # IR82FR you were looking at isn't going to be wide enough to get through both sides of the item # DX33CR. It's designed specifically for a 2" coupler so the inside span is only 3-1/8".

I remember working with you last year. Is this for your Century Coronado boat's trailer? Where do you store your boat when you're not using it?

Thanks Jerred Yes for the new trailer for the 1961 Coronado. Got the Curt Echo a few weeks ago but haven't tried it out yet. We built new house and have two 30 x 30 garages on either side so plenty of garage space to house the Coronado.

@BryceJ You're welcome! That sounds like an amazing setup, congratulations! I got goosebumps thinking about it. You're going to like that Curt Echo. Make sure you don't submerge it though when you're putting your Coronado in or out. It's weatherproof but not submersible.
