How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the InfiniteRule Universal Coupler Lock. The thing that makes this one special is the fact that it will work for your 1-7/8, 2", and 2-5/16 couplers. It comes with an adjustable cap that's gonna work for all your sizes, so let's take a closer look at it and see what makes it special. As you can see, our coupler lock has this bright orange that gives you high visibility, so a would-be thief will move on to a softer target. One of the things I love about InfiniteRule locks, this is gonna be a similar to the types of locks you're gonna see on BMW stow and tow hitches and just your regular lock. It's gonna be a half inch, I'm sorry, quarter inch thick piece of steel that's corrosion resistant with an O-ring on the end to keep moisture out of it so it'll stay nice and functional.
Now, as you can see right here, you have this notch here and this is gonna allow you to use your 2" and 1-7/8" ball. If you need to adjust it so you can use your 2-5/16, you just put the cap on and screw it into position. Now, as far as the plate here, you have a lot of different spaces here where you can make your connection, and you can also make a connection here, moving the ball down, using the carriage bolt on the bottom. You're gonna have three different spots in this plate to work for your specific coupler. As far as the plate, you're gonna have multiple different contact points as far as where you can put your pin through to make your custom fit to get that snug, tight lock around your coupler.
Also, one of the things with InfiniteRule, they make it really easier for your use. They have the right side on the right, L for the left side, so you can follow how to have everything in the correct orientation. I mean, in general, this is gonna be a nice, sturdy lock to keep your trailer safe. Overall, InfiniteRule products across the board are usually really solid, and this is no different. You're gonna have a nice, water-resistant cap to keep moisture outta your lock, and it's just solid.
I mean, there's no such thing as a lock that's gonna stop someone determined to do something bad, but this is definitely gonna be a barrier to make someone either have to hang out too long or move on to someone else's trailer. I thought the price was to high compared to some other products I looked at. but I've always been a believer in you get what pay for, I was not disappointed this thing functions great the finish is super and i have confidence that it will keep my trailer secure.
Although the lock was expensive, it will be extremely tough to remove without a key. It's exactly what I needed to protect my trailer from theft.

I searched everywhere for something like this. I like that it's nice and hefty and seems like it will be secure. I have the new Wallace Forge coupler on my RV which requires a wider span than the smaller one's. This fits my coupler but I do have one complaint. The pin is only 1/4 inch diameter and my coupler has a much larger hole but your site did not carry the larger pin, so I had to settle. If you have the larger pin I would be happy to exchange the 1/4 inch pin.
The coupler functions as advertised. Ease of installation and a visual deterrence for “courious” passersby. I would definitely recommend this lock.

I had a similar type coupler lock on my utility trailer that had begun to corrode because it was not made of stainless steel. I am using this one on my new vacation trailer along with an extreme duty coupler lock.
Love it! It’s solid and well made. Just make sure you order the right span length for your trailer lock. I paired it with the Bulletproof Hitch lock. My trailer is safe!
Pior to purchasing this lock from etailer I bought several competitive trailer lockks from big box stores. All were junk compared to this one. I was hesitatnt to purchase when I saw the price but I would have saved a lot of money and disappointment had I purchased this one first. I will not stop a very determined thief with power tools but ti is far superior to anything else I tried.

I think this coupler lock will do the trick... Only time will tell, I hope my trailer will stay safe by using it. Seems well made and secure.
It looks like it’s a nicely built tongue lock system. When it was delivered and I opened it, the finish was already scratched. Kind of strange, as it was packaged nicely. Should also be a great visual deterrent.

This product was as advertised and fit nicely on my 2 5/16” coupler. There weren’t any instructions included with it but it was pretty straightforward to figure out how to install it. I am looking forward to using it the next time I go fishing.
