Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this InfiniteRule Trailer Latch Lock for the Dexter A-60 trailer coupler. Now this part here is gonna keep your trailer secure by using this InfiniteRule heavy duty stainless steel lock. It is a flush style lock. It's designed to fit your Dexter A-60 trailer coupler. And I just wanna pop up an image there to show you one of those couplers what it looks like.
This will go through there and it keeps, basically, it'll secure your trailer to your ball mount by keeping that coupler latch from being open. It is a heavy duty stainless steel construction. The two keys are included and if you noticed on this end, has a nice weather resistant tethered dust cap that'll go over the keyway to keep water and debris out of it. And the way you would open it is you just take your key, go ahead and insert it in there. And then what you do is you just start unloosening it like you're unscrewing a bolt and you just keep turning it and then it'll loosen and then you can take it apart.
And you can see right here it has this nice O-ring on it, which will protect the internal components from dirt and grime. This part is made in the USA. So what you'll do is slide this pin. It is a quarter inch diameter pin diameter. Slide that through the hole in the coupler, after it's latched to your trailer, line it up, line the lock up, just like that.
And then go ahead and with the key in there, just turn it like you're tightening a bolt. And once you get it tight, what you'll do is there's four notches on the lock, 12 o'clock, nine o'clock, six o'clock, and three o'clock position. Line it up to one of those notches and you can pull the key right out, put the dust cap back on and it's locked and ready to go. This part is made in the USA, again, as we mentioned, it's designed to fit the Dexter A-60 coupler. Again, pin diameter down here is a quarter of an inch.
The inside pin length or the span they call it, which would be the width of your coupler, is 3-1/8". And the pin depth, which we measured from where the pin is to the lock is right at 2-5/8".
