Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Dexter Channel-Mount Coupler with Low-Profile Latch. Now this is going to work with your three-inch-wide channel bracket. It's gonna connect to your two-inch ball. And this has a weight capacity of 7,700 pounds.
So this low-profile coupler latch is going to ensure an easy, secure connection. The over-the-center latch mechanism is going to only engage when the coupler is fully seated on the hitch ball. So let me go ahead and give you a brief demonstration of how to connect. I'm gonna pull that pin and clip out and just unlatch that or unsecure that, and then pops that right into place. And then to secure that onto the ball, you'll just replace that pin and clip.
And then you do wanna make sure that this front latch here is connected there. So as you can see, this is gonna be very simple to couple onto that two-inch ball. Go ahead and release that. And so that's it, so very simple. And of course the adjustable channel mount is going to let you change the coupler's height depending on your particular application.
The channel bracket is sold separately from this, but it does include the mounting bolts, so that's great. If you got your channel bracket already, then this will be ready to go right out of the box with that hardware. This is constructed durable steel, zinc plating, and it has a zinc-plated corro, zinc plating, let's try that again, to fight off corrosion. I think I got all that out in the right order. So again, if you already have a channel bracket, this is gonna be a very simple install for you.
