Im using a tie-down actuator LP80, but are there any actuators that can be installed on it without any modifications?

Hi Syo,
There is not an exact replacement that will slide into place to replace your Tie Down LP80 because it has been discontinued, so you would have to go with a completely new actuator. It looks like the Tie Down LP fits a 3" wide channel tongue, if that's the case for your trailer, you can use something like the Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator w/Electric Lockout part # DX89FR. It bolts-on to 3" wide trailer tongues and its mounting holes are spaced 3" apart center to center so you made need to drill holes into your frame to install it.
The electric reverse lock out will allow you to back up without activating your trailer's brakes using the reverse signal from your tow vehicle toa solenoid inside the actuator. The over-center latch mechanism automatically engages when fully seated on a 2" hitch ball to provide you with a safe, secure connection to your trailer while towing.
What kind of trailer are you replacing the actuator on?

Thank you for your reply. Based on the photos I attached of my Ranger trailer, do you believe the Dexter DX89FR would require only one additional mounting hole? Or are there any other modifications that you can see from my photos?
