What Mounting Hardware Is Needed for the Advent Air Low Profile 13,500 BTU RV Air Conditioner?

It says it doesn’t include the mounting hardware where do I get the mounting hardware? Can I order here?

Hello Adam,
Thanks for writing in.
The Advent Air Low Profile RV Air Conditioner System # ADV45SR includes the wiring harness, but the mounting hardware is not included. If you're replacing an existing rooftop AC unit and the mounting hardware is still in good condition, you can reuse it for the installation.
If the existing hardware is missing, damaged, or corroded, you will need six #8 x 5/8" Phillips pan head tapping screws and four 1/4"-20 x 7" serrated flange head bolts to complete the installation. We do not currently offer this hardware separately, but these are common fasteners that should be available at most local hardware stores.
As long as your RV has a standard 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" roof opening, the installation should be fairly straightforward. I would recommend inspecting the old hardware when removing the existing unit to determine whether it can be reused or if replacement hardware would be the better option.
