Your old AC couldn't keep up. This ducted kit delivers steady cooling through your ceiling vents, with matched components for a smoother install and the durability to keep running season after season.
One of the biggest headaches in RV repairs is figuring out which parts are compatible. This kit takes that off your plate. The rooftop unit, air distribution box, and thermostat are made to work together, so installation is smoother and nothing catches you off guard. Whether you're doing the install yourself or paying someone else to do it, having everything in one kit makes everything less stressful.
This system moves air through your ceiling ducts to bring the temperature down quickly and evenly throughout the space without blasting you in the face or leaving dead spots near the bed. Large evaporator and condenser coils with raised lance fins help pull heat out efficiently, so your RV stays cooler with less strain on the system. You walk in, and the air feels dry, cool, and breathable.
The air distribution box gives you control right at ceiling level. Open the louvers for direct cooling into the cabin, or close them to push air through your ducts. The slim, low-profile design leaves you with more overhead clearance inside, and the swing-open grille makes it easy to reach and wash the filter. No tools required. Just pull, rinse, and snap it back into place.
Sometimes it's not cold enough to run the furnace, but it's too chilly to be comfortable. This system is prepped for a 5,600 Btu heat strip (sold separately), which is a simple way to take the edge off on those in-between mornings. It's easy to install and helps your space warm up without the noise or power draw of a full furnace cycle.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this Coleman-Mach Signature Mach 3 13,500 BTU ducted RV air conditioner system with this textured black cover. Now, one of the biggest headaches in RV repairs is figuring out which parts are gonna be compatible with one another. This kit is going to take all that off of your plate. This rooftop unit comes with this air distribution box and thermostat and everything is made and designed to work together.
So installation is going to be smoother and the setup is going to be more reliable and easier. So whether you're doing the install yourself or you're paying for someone else to do it for you, having everything together in one kit that's designed to all work together is going to make that installation process and setup process a whole lot easier and less stressful. Now this is made for RVs with ducted air and with 13,500 BTUs of cooling power, this system is going to move air through your ceiling ducts to give you enough cooling power for your smaller to mid-size RVs. Think of like 30 feet and below and inside of our air conditioner unit are large coils and airflow boosting fins, it's gonna help pull that heat out efficiently so your RV's gonna stay cooler with less strain on your system. So you're gonna walk in, you're gonna feel that nice cool air, it's gonna be more comfortable to be in your camper and also you're gonna have a lot more comfortable nights to sleep in as well with the nice cool air that this will be putting out.
Let's talk measurements of the unit itself. Length overall end to end, we're pretty close to 39 inches. The width, again, end to end right at about 26 inches. And this is a mid-profile air conditioner. So this is sitting right at about 13 and 1/2 inches tall.
This is going to work with your standard size opening on your roof of 14 and 1/4 inches by 14 and 1/4 inches. And this unit weighs about 80 pounds or so. By the way, I just wanna mention this cover real quick. I said it was a textured black cover and it's not like a hard, rigid cover like other air conditioners that I'm familiar with. This is kind of more pliable, more flexible a little bit, so I don't think it's going to immediately crack or fracture under impact.
I think it's gonna be more impact-resistant, but overall I think it's gonna do a great job of keeping the internal components protected from water, debris and things like that. Now, taking a closer look on this side of my table here, our air distribution box is going to give you direct or ducted airflow. So I'm just going to open up these louvers here and that's going to allow the air to immediately come out of this air distribution box to cool down the room that this is installed in. But then if you wanna move that air through the ducts, you'll just close those louvers and that'll push the air through the existing duct work in your RV or camper. We have these grills here on the side that are going to easily pop off so you can remove and rinse the washable filters within and then when the filters are dry, you'll just replace them and that's going to allow air to continue to move through the system more efficiently. I did want to show you that this has a pretty low profile design. So if I lift this up and kind of act like I'm installing this in the ceiling there, you can see it's not gonna take up a whole lot of head space in your camper or RV. This is going to stick down maybe about an inch or an inch and 1/2 or so. So you're still gonna have plenty of head room with this installed. Just giving you a view of the other side here and then just to continue to give you some measurements of our air distribution box here, looking at the overall width, we're about 19 inches wide. The overall length, about 20 inches long. Now you're also going to get the control box here, which is basically the brain of your system here. And then you're also going to get this thermostat, lemme bring this up a little bit closer here. So this is going to really give you easy temperature control. This is a simple digital thermostat that's going to let you adjust the settings on this air conditioner. You're gonna have a clear backlit display. It's gonna be easy to read and it's gonna be relatively easy to install as well. Looking at the overall length, we're sitting right at about, height rather, four inches tall, two and 1/2 inches wide, and right at about one inch thick. So this is gonna be included with the hardware to mount this onto your wall. So again, you're gonna get the hardware for the air conditioner and the air distribution box installation and the frame here. So basically everything that you need to get this up and running. Now, this is not going to be backwards compatible with any air conditioner system from 2024 and earlier due to the new R32 refrigerant that this air conditioner uses. So that's another reason why it's great to get a kit like this because all of the components are designed to work with that new R32 refrigerant. So by chance, if you have any other air conditioning component that's currently in your RV or camper from 2024 or earlier, that's not going to be compliant with the new R32 refrigerant and it will not be a compatible with this system. Just so you're aware of that. One other thing I wanted to mention is a heat strip is available for this system separately, and it's not really for a furnace replacement, but it's just in case you wake up one morning, it's just a little bit chilly and you want to take the edge off the air. You can get that heat strip and you can install it. It's a relatively simple install into this unit. So if you're interested in taking a look at that, I have the item number there on your screen. You can just take that item number and pop it in the search field on our website. That will take you to that compatible heat strip and you can add that to your order. If you happen to have any other additional questions about this system or any other, the air conditioning systems that we carry here, don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We do wanna be sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. Well, that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
Product arrived in 2 shipments. Upon arrival checked for damage. None noticed. Upon removal from box found small crack in cover at bottom not far from screw attachment. Most likely from shipping. This was cosmetic and would not effect function of unit. Installed unit wired and tested. Temperature reached 67 degrees in rv in about 4 hours. Much better than the 98 degrees prior to installation.
I’ve ordered many things from trailer and they have never let me down. Easy to order, fast shipping, right on time. Actually, it arrived a day early. Nice surprise.
