Hello I have questions about an email that Chris H sent me Oct 11 with a link BWTS10038B BX8858 e98880 I hear about quiet/rattle-less parts. Is there an equivalent that would be like that? Thank you.

To lock the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount - 2" Hitch - 5" Drop, 5-1/2" Rise - 7.5K - Black # BWTS10038B, we have a lot of options. The Blue Ox # BX8858 and etrailer # e98880 locks Chris H sent you would definitely work, but they are just locks and will not offer any kind of anti-rattle qualities. Since you are wanting something that will work as an anti-rattle device as well as a lock, I recommend the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches - 3-1/2" Span # 63232.
The shank on the B&W Tow & Stow is hollow, so the block on the # 63232 lock (see included picture) will go inside there and then the actual pin will thread through that block, creating a very tight connection. We use this lock for this kind of thing very often and it does a great job. The vast majority of movement comes from this area and this lock will be the one that gets two birds with one stone, so to say.
Now if you are wanting to keep the platform from moving, there isn't really a way to do that, unfortunately. However, we do have the Pin Surround Lock for B&W Tow & Stow Hitches # BW82AR that will lock all three pins on that platform. It's very convenient.
