Hi team Looking at a velocirax rack. It needs 86mm from hitch pin to back of hitch ie a long hitch receiver. Do you know how deep this hitch is? I couldnt find this specification. Thanks Jo I quote- 3 3/8 inch 86mm depth past center of hitch pin hole to a VelociRAX

Hey Jo! The distance from the center of the Curt # C67ER hitch pin hole to the back of the receiver is approximately 4-1/4". However, Curt does not allow the use of vertical hanging bike racks with this hitch so you need the etrailer # e36KR instead. This hitch doesn't have that restriction, and has the same measurement so it is compatible with the VelociRAX.

Why is the curt hitch not compatible with the velocirax vertical bike rack? Is it all vertical bike racks or just the velocirax.

@AshleyB all vertical bike racks. Curt added this note to many of their Class III hitches a few years ago, I don't have a definitive answer on the why behind it.
