Does Progressive Dynamics 2000 Watt Inverter w/ Transfer Switch # PD64FR Provide Uninterrupted Power
Updated 06/01/2026 | Published 05/25/2026 >
Question:
I wanted to know how fast the transfer switch is when switching back and forth from battery to shore power. The reason is I want to know if my electronics will be interrupted when the switch happens. I dont want my tv to shut off then come back on every time the generator kicks on or off. I have seen models claiming uninterrupted power but this one does not claim anything.

Hey Jared, the transfer switch of the Progressive Dynamics 2000 Watt Inverter w/ Transfer Switch # PD64FR that you referenced would give you uninterrupted power. Your TV will not have a brief power outage at all. You won't notice the change.

Hi, like Scott’s comment, my initial inverter produced an E5 error. PD warranty did cover a replacement timely. The inverter works good and you should not have any issue with power interruptions.
