hi ive had the other brand of this type of coil helper. they installed with zipties. i dont see how these install. with snap rings? i might try these for my new crosstrek wilderness if they work good. jerry

Hello again Jerry! The Timbren SES Coil Spring Suspension # T72AV uses a grommet and snap rings to secure it. See the attached photo. This is a cleaner install when compared to the SumoSprings # CSS-1125R, at least assuming you choose to use the zip ties (they're optional in this case).
Since the # T72AV are newer, I haven't heard anything either way about how effective it is at keeping them in place. I'm sure Timbren tested it thoroughly and didn't have any issues. I don't see there being a major difference in performance between the two, so personally I would choose whichever has the lower cost at the time.
