Hi everyone, Steven here with etrailer. Today we're looking at our Timbren suspension enhancement system, specifically for coil spring suspensions on the rear axle. Now these fit a 2013 through 2026 Subaru Crosstrek. That being said, sometimes these videos can become outdated over the years, so I always recommend you check the etrailer.com's fit guide where it says "my vehicle information." Enter things like year, make, and model, and other questions that ask you to be sure you're getting the right parts the first time. Now, what's neat about these is they're gonna mount to your existing attachment points that give you rear axle support, enhancing your coil suspension's ability to support loads. Now, this uses what's called progressive load cushioning, and that just means it's gonna adjust the sit, adjust the stiffness based on the load weight, giving you optimal comfort.
And as you can see, you get the four clips there, a couple bushings here, and of course the two main spring enhancement systems themselves. Now, the cool thing about these here, once you install them, you don't have to worry about adjusting anything. They're ready to go for the life of your vehicle as long as you're using them. Now, these are rated at 1500 pounds rear spring capacity, so that means never go over what the limit of your vehicle is, number one. But number two, these are only gonna support 1500 pounds of support, so you're not adding that weight capacity to your vehicle.
You're just supporting 1500 pounds of that total weight, giving you a better, more cushioned, ride, and better suspension and handling overall. The product first arrived in a damaged box with one of the washers missing, but ETrailer did resupply that. The hardest part was finding a shop able (needs the right tools to depress coil springs) and willing (a potential liability issue messing with suspension) to replace it for a reasonable cost. Eventually a local tire shop agreed to. This was for a 2014 Honda Odyssey, especially for pulling a pop-up. Took two camping trips last summer, one before and one after installation, and I have been pleased with the added stiffness in the rear suspension. It made about 1 to 1.5 inch of difference in resting position when fully loaded and towing and has helped smooth out bumps and humps in the road - both when towing and not.
Very fast shipping, had product in 2 days! Very easy to install. Hardest part was lifting the RV.
Fast delivery. Disappointed with the instructions. Sense the item was ordered vehicle specific. The instructions said tighten bolts to manufactures specifications.

I put this product on my Trooper. The install was easy is you take the back wheels off. I towed this weekend and I did not bottom out. If they hold up over time, this is a great product.
A simple, passive approach when you need a little less sag, like towing a trailer.

15 mins to install and what a difference…. Went from a few inches of sag in the rear to only an inch and over 1000lbs tongue weight didn’t know the trailer was attached to the truck
Noticed a significant decrease in the sag on my 250. Pulled great and would definitely recommend these to anyone on the fence about purchasing
