Question:
Hello, can you tell me the length of this bracket? I only have 3inch space on frame

Hi Kuer!
The mounting bracket for the CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons for Boat Trailers - 40" Tall - White - 1 Pair # CE27620 (the # CES94FR), measures 4" wide and 4-5/8" long (see included image). So only having three inches of space to work with is going to be difficult.
Is there by chance more room on the bottom of the frame? This can be mounted on the bottom of the frame without issues. If that won't work either though, the only other thing you could do to make this fit is cut the bracket down a little.
I couldn't find anyone making a smaller bracket than this, so this would be the only other way to get it to fit. You would need to remove at least an inch off the bracket (a little overhang would still be fine), but with the bracket being galvanized, you would be introducing a spot for premature rusting. If you go this route, I would definitely paint the bracket after cutting it. Something rust preventing would be a must.
What kind of trailer are you wanting to install these on? And what kind of boat are you carrying?
