Question:
I have a Dutton-Lanison 1500 lb jack on my Boatmate marine trailer that has failed no longer will raise/lower. The swivel base of the jack is welded onto the frame so Id like to stay with that brand and style but the jack has always felt inadequate. Do you know if I could upgrade to the DL22339 and still use the swivel base thats on the trailer? Are they the same? Hopefully that makes sense.

Yes Brad, that absolutely makes sense.
There’s a good chance you can reuse the Dutton-Lainson welded swivel mount already on your Boatmate trailer.
The Dutton-Lainson # DL22339 uses a standard swivel-mount design, I attached a photo of the mounting holes on the bracket.
5-1/2 inches from left to right
2-3/8 top to bottom row
What style of boat are you launching from your trailer?

I have the same product as you and LIKEWISE after 1 year of operation, it just will not lower down or go up! Yes, total bummer. I can still use it, but it's now locked in place. I will not buy this brand again because of this. In the future, I will purchase 100% aluminum if one is made as I can only guess that certain components on the inside rusted? Regardless, Dutton-Lainson has got some homework to do.
