Question:

Hello eTrailer. I am looking to install a James Baroud Horizon Vision with this kit. The Install Instructions call for: TBMK031 Sold Seperately. Do you have this? I dont see it on your website. Also, can you confirm fitment with that adapter for the James Baroud Horizon Vision softsided, flip-over tent. Last question - do you see any issues with installing a couple sets of these for different mounting positions? This tent would allow flip over driver, rear, or passenger side all dependent on mounting position. Which might come in handy depending on the site. Thanks for your help!

Hey GB, thanks for all the details!

The TBMK031 kit listed in the instructions is an older part number. The current version is the Front Runner channel adapter # FR39HJ (TBMK035), that’s the one you’ll want for your James Baroud Horizon Vision.

As for your setup, I don’t see any issues with using multiple mounting positions. Since the Horizon Vision can flip open to the driver side, passenger side or rear, having points of quick-release mounts like # FR29RV is actually a good way to keep your options open.

Just make sure the rack is supporting the tent well in each position, everything is evenly mounted and you’ve got enough clearance for it to fully open on each side.
