Question:
Hello I have a 2019 Grand Design Imagine xls 18xrb. I pulled the fresh water tank dump valve and the paddle and handle came completely out of the valve housing. Would I be able to fix this with the LSB44AR, and what would be the easiest way to do that? photo attached Thank You

Thanks for the picture Ken! The LaSalle Bristol Drain Valve item # LSB44AR is exactly what you need. I checked with Grand Design and the 1-1/2" diameter fittings match up to what came on your trailer from the factory.
To remove the old drain valve you'll need to clear off that spray foam and get to the pipe on the other side. You could try to get those bolts off but it's most likely been attached with ABS cement like item # 3447530889 to the pipe that runs into your trailer so you'll need to cut it off. You may need to remove part of your trailer's underneath cover to get to the pipe.
I recommend cutting that pipe as close to the old drain valve as possible. That way you can install the LaSalle Bristol Drain Valve item # LSB44AR without having to extend the pipe.

I had the same problem. I had to cut back the insulation and spray foam. I disassembled the valve removing the 4 screws. removed the lower assembly. disassembled the new valve and placed the new valve and new cover back on with the 4 new screws. I greased the valve with some food safe white lithium grease. My tank is a ABS tank and the only way to completely remove the valve is to drop the tank and take it to a shop that can do thermal welding. Hope this helps.
