If your fresh-water tank is starting to develop an off odor or taste, it's time to clean and sanitize your tank and water lines. This two-step kit cleans and sanitizes your tank to get rid of harmful bacteria.
Features:
This product cleans and sanitizes your fresh-water tank and plumbing. It is not a fresh-water additive. To use, you must first empty your fresh-water tank, add detergent as directed, and refill tank. Circulate diluted detergent through each faucet, shower, and water outlet for approximately 1 minute. Drain tank, refill, and drain again being sure to use all available faucets. At this point you are ready for the second step - sanitizing. Refill tank and add sanitizer as directed. Allow to circulate for a minimum of 60 seconds though all fixtures. Lastly, drain your tank and flush lines with water only.
In our experience, with old trailers that haven't had lines cleaned in a long time, this process may need to be repeated a couple of times.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Thetford freshwater sanitizer treatment kit. Now this is going to clean and sanitize your freshwater tank and plumbing with an easy-to-use two-part system. This is designed for RVs, campers, trailers, boats, and coolers. And the chlorine-free formula is going to leave no smell or taste.
And this is going to kill 99% of harmful bacteria, including staph, e. coli, listeria, and those are just the ones that I can pronounce. This will be effective in hard water. And this does include everything that you see here. And as you can see, the bottles are identified by the step that you take.
So step one right here is the detergent solution, and then step two is the fresh water tank sanitizer. So, one 24-ounce bottle of detergent, and then a 24-ounce bottle of fresh water tank sanitizer. And you will use one ounce of detergent and sanitizer per four gallons of water. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.
Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
Worked very well. This process used a lot of water. My fresh water tank holds 80 gals. I had to fill the tank up 4 times.
I'll use this product again. It eliminated the smell from my water lines.
Product came quickly. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. eTrailer never disappoints.
