Yes, the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller with Custom Harness # RED53CR is compatible with your 2026 Infiniti QX80.

If your vehicle doesn’t already have a factory tow setup, you’ll also need the Relay Kit # C57000 and the Pollak Dual Connection Socket # PK23AV. The relay kit is what completes the necessary circuits so the rear plug actually receives power and functions properly.

Also if you want to make the install look more OEM you can get the universal mounting panel # 331-TPSI-001. This will come in handy if you don't have a blank panel on your dash.

It was a direct plug and play situation. Really easy to install and took about 45 minutes. Not breaking a sweat installing it. I pulled my 23 ft camper a couple weeks ago and it worked flawless the whole trip.

Brad, these people here at E trailer know their stuff. My advice to you is for your infinity is to get the little cut out plastic piece to put in your dashboard. So it looks like it’s factory. I bought the controller with the harness. And did not know that they sold the plastic button cut out piece to make it look factory until after it was too late. Luckily I was able to make a pre-existing cut out work to look factory.. I’m not sure how your car looks on the inside so I would advise you looking up your your vehicles dash plug deal or whatever you wanna call it to make it look factory cause I don’t know about your preferences, but mine are. I don’t like the look of sloppy aftermarket installation things. If that makes sense. I am very pleased with my controller. I also had gotten the harness so I could just plug-in play with my redarc controller.

@LoganF Thanks for sharing all the info. The universal mounting panel # 331-TPSI-001 totally makes the install look OEM or intentional than without it, especially if a blank panel isn't available or the blank panel isn't in a good location.

I had a direct plug and play experience, I bought a blank plate for the knob and it fit my empty switch spots. After a little fishing behind the dash for the connector on the truck, it was easy to install. The unit is small enough I was able to mount it behind my stereo. I have pulled many trailers for many miles with only good experiences.
