Hi Joseph!

The Kenda 5.70-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" White Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range B # AM30100 is actually rated up to 62 mph (which is standard for basically all 5.70-8 trailer tires), not 81 mph. To get to the M speed rating (81 mph), you would need to go with a different set up.

We do have an option for that, but it will be quite a bit different. That would be the Kenda 215/60-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" White Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range D # AM3H323. This has the exact same 18.1" outer diameter as the # AM30100, but it is quite a bit wider (8.9" for this whereas the # AM30100 is 5.8"). This is also a Bias tire, but it has a Load Range D (1,165pounds at 70 psi) and is also stiffer with its 8 ply sidewalls. If you have the room for it, it would be the way to go.

I'm even more confused....the description says AM30100 is M rated (81 MPH), but the expert reply says only 65mph. Which is correct, the description or the expert? Thank you

@Shane Where are you seeing that on the page? I couldn't find that listed anywhere on the page for the tire/wheel combo or for the tire alone (part # AM10010). And actually, I was slightly off when I said it was rated to 65 mph. It's actually J rated, which is 62 mph. I updated that in my answer as well. And before you ask, I asked Kenda and that's where I got the J rating.

@LazerS Kinda snippety with your answer for a customer service "expert". I wasn't going to ask where you got your J rating. It's in the description along with all the other details. It also shows up if you filter 5.70-8 tires/wheels by speed. You can choose 65mph or 81mph. I have pasted below the text from the product page, since I can't add pictures. @Shane I wasn't trying to be snippety with my response, just trying to answer any unasked questions. But I can say with 100% certainty that our website is incorrect in that aspect and I will have it updated. It should not be saying this is rated for that kind of speed and is potentially dangerous to do so.
