Hey Robert, thanks for reaching out. Does your tailgate light hook up to a standard 4-flat trailer connector? If so, we do have a 4-flat harness that will fit your 2025 Ford Maverick Hybrid. The fit will just depend what kind of taillights you have so please check that and select from the following:

- Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C29PQ (for vehicles with non-LED lights)

- Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59DR (for models with LED lights)

Both are plug-in harnessed that tee in behind the taillights. You'll need to run a wire to the battery to power the module, but this is a pretty standard step for wiring harness installs. I've linked our install video for you below.

I bought the harness and flat four connector and was, with the help of a local business, able to set up the connection on my Maverick Hybrid. It works like a charm. What they did was mostly the wire run to the battery for the power since I don't have a lift.

I installed this on a Ford Maverick to power lights for a trailer. It was fairly easy to install, a wire did need to be routed from the battery and secured under the truck.

@Chris Nice work! Running that power wire is definitely the trickiest part, but it usually isn't too bad. Thanks for sharing!
