Hello, I have a 2018 Siera 2500HD without a gooseneck hitch. I am interested in the Anderson 5th wheel Gooseneck adapter using the AN27VR bed shaft. What gooseneck hitch do you recommend for this application? 2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD 6.6ft bed Thank you

Hey Lew, thanks for reaching out. We can set you up with a gooseneck hitch and the Andersen Ultimate Connection, but that # AN27VR adapter you mentioned is only for OEM gooseneck hitches, so that won't work with any of the aftermarket gooseneck options we offer.

What you can do it use the following:

- B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs # BWGNRK1016

- Andersen Aluminum Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection 2 Gooseneck version # 3220

This will give you the in-bed gooseneck hitch and Aluminum Ultimate connection you are looking for. The Andersen hitch will connect directly to the gooseneck ball without the need for any adapters. I really like the Turnoverball system too - it'll be a very solid, versatile setup.

What 5th wheel are you towing?

I used the B&W Turnover ball that Jesse M suggested under the 2018 2500 GMC Sierra. Worked great. I used the Anderson Aluminum hitch in my 2024 3500 GMC Sierra and I really like it. No more chucking and I get my pickup bed back with easy removal.
