What Water Pump do I Need to Replace Mine in My 2022 NoBo Travel Trailer?

Updated 05/04/2026 | Published 04/26/2026

Question:

Hello! We need to replace our water pump on our 2022 NoBo 19.2 travel trailer. Recently, we attempted to boondock and found that the pump wasnt working. When we visually inspected the pump, there is a clear plastic part that completely broke. Super gluing the plastic is not the best option. Can you help us get the correct part? Thank you!

Hello Rebecca,

Thanks for writing in! I’m sorry to hear your pump gave out on your trip, I hope you were still able to enjoy your time.

I don’t have a database that shows exactly what components are installed on each specific trailer, but based on my research, your unit should have a 3.0 GPM (gallons per minute) / 55 PSI pump. You can confirm this by checking the label on your current pump. Replacing it with the correct unit will restore reliable water flow for boondocking and help prevent leaks from the damaged housing. If the information is different, please let me know.

If that matches, I recommend the HydroMax RV Fresh Water Pump - 12 Volt - 3 Gallons Per Minute - 55 psi # P25201. This will be a great replacement option. The mounting pattern and fittings are the same, and it uses a simple 2-wire hookup, so you can order it and swap it in using your existing setup without any modifications.

Sometimes locating the pump is the hardest part, but it sounds like you’ve already got that covered!

Where do you typically like to go boondocking, and for how long?

Not sure if you e already been answered but the expert Kate F is absolutely right it will replace yours but if it's just the clear plastic bowl looking thing that looks like it has a screen in it then you can just order a screen filter and case and it should work to replace the cracked clear plastic piece if that's what your referring to but if it's the actual housing for the pump then yea you will want to replace the whole thing but you can totally just ordered the separate pieces to your water and or even find your fittings at any local RV retailer as well should have them but every retail place is different in the parts they carry but I hope this helps I did replace my old water pump it was a 3.0 GPM 40 psi pump and there wasn't anything wrong with it except the water pressure so I upgraded to the above water pump that they mentioned at 55psi and it was a super easy swap all the fittings were the same and it comes with a new clear plastic filter cup with screen so you would get both pieces you need if you buy the brand new one of that helps at all?! Happy Trails to you !!

@AceH I'm not completely sure that the one he is replacing is the HydroMax, he could have a different brand. If he does, this is a great option. Thanks for the response Ace!

This is a good replacement water pump motor. I've put these in a few different rv's in the past and it works great.
