Replacement Disc Brakes for Trailer With Dexter Disc Brakes

Question:

Looking to do complete hub, bearing and brakes. Already have Dexter caliper and brake lines. Are these compatible with the Kodiak 67Fr replacement being offered

Hey Jack! You can use the Kodiak Disc Brakes # KOD67FR as a replacement as long as you have a #84 spindle on that trailer. These use # L68149 inner and # L44649 outer bearings so you need to make sure that matches what you have now. If you aren't sure, you can send me the S/N off your axle tag, and I'll see if it can be identified by the manufacturer.

Magictilt S#170799 If I’m replacing the hubs including rotor, caliper and pads all new, my question is the brake line hose connector universal. Original is Dexter caliper

@JackB that is the number on the axle tag? I was thinking it might be Dexter Torflex from the picture but I guess not. Unfortunately, I can't look anything up with that number. The brake lines will hook up to the Kodiak without extra parts but I would look them over first. Those brakes look rough so it might be worth replacing the brake lines as well.

@JackB We purchased these and it fit the brake lines without issue. They work well.
