I’d like to replace a Waco 8735 with this: PowerMax 30A RV Power Center and Distribution Panel - 55A DC Converter I donr mind enlarging the opening. Will it fit in my 91 Sunrader? Btw, tried to open 11 questions but nothing happens. Thank you, Steve

Hey Steve, the PowerMax RV Power Center # PM67VR that you referenced is actually going to be rated 25 amps higher than what you have now. It's titled in a confusing way as it says its 30 amp but it's actually a 55 amp output converter. You'd want to go with something that more closely matches the amperage you have now like with the WFCO part # WF96FR which is rated for 35 amps. While going with a higher amperage rating is possible the issue is that the wiring you have now wouldn't be able to handle the higher amperage which might cause the wiring to get hot or worst case scenario catch on fire.
