The Invis-A-Rack Folding Ladder Rack is built to be there when you need it and disappear when you don’t. The uprights fold down and store inside the built-in bed rail cases, so you can switch from work to play in seconds. When raised, the rack supports up to 500 lbs, giving you room for ladders, lumber, or long gear. When folded, it stays flush with the rails for a clean, low-profile look that won’t get in the way of hooking up a fifth-wheel or gooseneck trailer.
This rack is made from extruded aluminum that’s both sturdy and lightweight, so it won’t weigh your truck down or rust out over time. The textured black powder coat adds another layer of protection and blends in neatly with your truck bed trim. It’s tough enough for job-site use but refined enough that it doesn’t stand out when folded away.
Each bed rail case hides more than just the folding arms. Inside the center of each case is a small storage box—perfect for keeping bungee cords, tie-downs, or small tools ready to go. The cases measure 3-1/2" wide x 3" tall, with center storage boxes that are 27-3/4" long x 3-1/4" wide x 2-3/4" deep, so there’s room for all the small essentials that usually rattle around your bed.
Because the rack folds down flat, it cuts drag and helps keep fuel efficiency higher than fixed racks. The lightweight aluminum design adds strength without adding extra fuel weight. Installation is quick with the included heavy-duty clamps—no drilling required. Foam strips cushion the rack bases against your truck’s bed rails, and one person can install it in about 10 minutes.
At full height, the uprights rise 31" above the bed rails and the crossbars span up to 69", giving you the reach and clearance to handle long materials or outdoor gear. Strap down a kayak, canoe, or hunting equipment with compatible accessories (sold separately), then fold it all away when it’s time to relax.

1 year and still love it. Quality product
This Rack is Awesome, loaded a bunch of 16'x7" board's from the lumber yard. And it didn't squeak, Rattle or flex around one bit. As if they were not even up there. Very pleased with it!
The direct shipment was boxed much more carefully and did not appear to have any shipping and handling damage like the previous delivery.
It is very unfortunate though, that at this price point, the product requires so much hand tuning to make work.
I realize now upon further inspection that the "in use" pictures show the black mounting hardware and the factory pictures show the unpainted bare aluminum hardware..... So all the mounting hardware had to be painted black to match the rack.
Again, half of the plastic in place arrived broken.
The keyhole slots in which the plastic end/joining plates insert into were not milled or formed correctly on any of the four pieces of the folding rack, all had to be hand tooled to fit and then repainted.
The product is advertised as black powder coated, but not only is the interior but also parts of the exterior are not fully powder coated.
Lastly there are nicks and dings on the exterior casing of the rack.
So all in all... After two shipments and $xxx I guess this is simply the level of quality we get.... It's unfortunate and I'm unpleased with the product in general. I need this product though at the moment, so it is now installed.
So far, so good. It arrived on time. The only things broken were two of the plastic "insert" pieces that go between the rails, but thankfully I only have a 5 1/2' bed, so I didn't really need them. I had it installed by the mechanics I was taking my truck to for other work and they said it installed pretty easily and one of the mechanics is going to get one for his own personal truck. We practiced setting it up and taking it down before I left. I can definitely do this on my own. I absolutely LOVE this product. I didn't want something that "whistled in the wind" or created drag every day even when I wasn't hauling the kayaks, so this is perfect. Thank you!
Great product. I use it to haul kayaks and lumber. It's surprisingly strong and sturdy. I put 300 lbs of lumber on it and never heard so much as a squeak. Installation was straightforward. I'll definitely buy another one for my next truck.
I love that I don’t have to find a place in my garage to store this rack, and remove and replace it with each use. It’s fairly easy to load and tie down my canoe single-handed. The loaded rack is quiet and feels secure at highway speeds and on rough roads. Set up and take-down is quick and easy, and the bed-rail look is unobtrusive. The product has met my expectations in every way. Thanks.
Very pleased. Exactly what we expected. Only issue is the driver side back plate that is glued on came off and is gone.
Easy to install and looks clean!
It will do the job. The fastening leaves a lot to be desired. I will have to put additional fasteners (bolts or screws) to make it a secure mount. the Center pieces are only held in place by little plastic end caps which are cheap and will not work. With the additional fasteners I feel like it will be fine but a bit overpriced for what it is.
Super product! Well constructed, sturdy, and easy to put together/install. Looking forward to receiving/using my other etrailer purchases and future sourcing from them.

Couldnt be more pleased. Two end caps fell off due to inadequate gluing but DeeZee, after a single call, promptly mailed me two more. Great product support!!
