My truck ha the cargo rail. Do I need to take that off to use the BAK x2 rollup cover.

Hey Scott! The BAK Revolver X2 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK77AV will fit your 2026 Toyota Tundra with the deck rail cargo management system. It will have to be removed temporarily for installation, and you can reinstall it once the tonneau cover is on. This is designed to fit the Tundra with a 6-1/2' bed.

I recommend looking at the BAK Revolver X4s # BAK27AV as well. This is also compatible with that system on your Tundra, and is the upgraded version of the X2 with a longer 5-year warranty. Both will work well for your setup.

You will have to go with a sliding hitch to allow the trailer to make tight turns. For a trailer 8 feet wide the only bed length that's going to allow 90 degree turns without a slider is a stationary hitch. That being said you have two options.…
