When you need the whole bed for a load of gear, you don’t have to remove the Revolver X2. Just drop the tailgate, pull the release cord, and roll the cover forward. The hinged 1/4" thick aluminum slats flex smoothly so it rolls up tight behind the cab. Nylon straps with plastic buckles hold it in place while you drive, and four rubber bumpers keep it from rubbing the cab. Because it mounts inside the bed rails, you can still use your stake pockets and side-rail accessories without interference.

Keeping cargo safe is easy with the automatic locking system built into the Revolver X2. When you close the cover and tailgate, the heavy-duty aluminum rails rotate to lock down the sides along the entire bed length. Gusset-reinforced levers secure the tailgate end, so once the tailgate is locked, the cover is locked too. There’s no Velcro or snaps to fuss with—just solid, mechanical security that stays tight every time you close it.

The Revolver X2 combines the flexible look of a soft cover with the strength of a hard one. Under the UV-resistant, textured black vinyl surface are aircraft-grade aluminum slats that can support up to 400 lbs of evenly distributed weight. The rustproof materials and matte black rubber seals help keep out rain and dust while standing up to years of weather exposure. Felt strips under the panels protect the finish and make it comfortable to handle in hot or cold conditions.

Some covers stick up over the rails and break up the truck’s lines. The Revolver X2 sits nearly flush with the bed rails for a clean, factory look. With no visible hinges or bulky edges, it keeps a smooth profile while improving aerodynamics and reducing wind drag. It’s a simple way to keep the bed covered without changing the truck’s appearance.

Installing the Revolver X2 doesn’t require drilling or special tools. The aluminum frame rails clamp to the inside of the bed, and the front hinge rail bolts to the side rails at the cab. Slotted brackets and pre-installed shims help square everything up so the cover fits snug and seals evenly. Once it’s tightened down, the cover rolls and locks smoothly from day one.

Hi Laura - I am still pleased with my BAK bed cover. I dont like it quite as well as the previous version I had on my other 2013 Nissan Frontier truck which got stolen, hence the new cover, but I am still pleased with the product. The new cover doesnt roll or latch quite as smoothly as the old one, but it still works well. They also slightly changed the clips for anchoring the rolled up cover, and I find them harder to clip in and maintain tension on the strap, but again they do work. Thanks for following up.

Its still holding up well and it looks as good as it did the day I installed it. I have no regrets about making this purchase.

My judgment has not changed. This cover is still excellent. If I ever get a different truck, this will be among my first accessory purchases.

Well, not so happy with the product. The carpeting fell off on the underside of the cover. Also the right side of the cover towards the tailgate shrank. Its been a few months since I started to have those issues and should of contacted you earlier for warranty. Hopefully its not too late for a warranty claim.

I am sorry to hear that this cover is not working out for you. Would you be able to send a picture of where the vinyl is separating from the aluminum?

I am sorry to hear about your experience with this cover. It is a BAK industries product that makes the revolver covers, did your not have the logo on the left side by the tailgate? What kind of truck did you install this on?
