Joseph, great question, and I’m glad you’re double checking the hardware so everything goes together smoothly the first time. The part # TA44XR wheel does come with a valve stem and center cap included, so you won’t need to worry about those. It does not include lug nuts, so you’ll want to pick those up separately to complete the install.

For that wheel, I recommend the Taskmaster Trailer Wheel Lug Nut part # TA66QR. It’s a 1/2 inch by 20 thread lug nut with the correct 60 degree cone seat, which is exactly what this aluminum wheel is designed to use so it centers properly and tightens down securely. The chrome finish also holds up well and gives you a clean look to match the wheel.

That said, the stud size is determined by the hub on your trailer, not the wheel, so that’s the piece we want to be sure about. If your hub has 1/2 inch by 20 studs, which is typical for this bolt pattern, then the TA66QR lug nuts will fit perfectly and seat correctly with the wheel. If your hub happens to use a different stud size, then we would just match the lug nuts to that instead.

f you have a tape measure or caliper, measure straight across the threaded portion of the stud. If it’s about half an inch across, then you’ve got 1/2 inch studs, which is what that wheel is typically paired with.

Another quick way is to take one of your existing lug nuts and see if it’s stamped. Many will have the size marked on them, like 1/2-20, which tells you both the diameter and thread pitch.

@JosephS Since you’re running a Master Marine trailer and already have hubs, there’s a really good chance you’re set up with standard 1/2 inch by 20 studs, which is what most trailers in that size range use. That lines up perfectly with the wheel and the lug nuts I mentioned, so you should be in good shape there. The only thing I’d still recommend, just to be 100 percent sure before ordering, is a quick check on one of your existing lug nuts or studs. If you see a 1/2-20 marking or measure right around half an inch across the threads, then you’re good to go with that setup and everything will seat correctly on the new wheels.
