I purchased the Blue Ox diod. BX8848. I have 2025 ford ranger raptor. I was watching your inhalation video and they installed the Roadmaster smart diod kit. Will the one i ordered work?

It sure will Chris! The Blue Ox 4-Diode Universal Tail Light Wiring Kit item # BX8848 is designed specifically for the LED lights on your 2025 Ford Ranger Raptor. The diodes will protect your RV from feedback and you won't get a bunch of warning lights.

The installation process of the Blue Ox item # BX8848 will be similar to the Roadmaster item # RO44FR. I have linked installation videos below for both. You'll want to pay specific attention to the diode pin configuration. The Roadmaster Kit only comes with two diodes and the Blue Ox comes with four. There is a detailed diagram in the installation instructions for item # BX8848, that I have also linked below. If you're doing the install yourself, I recommend keeping the diagram nearby.

@Chris I purchased the kit and installed in Ford Maverik, all went as instructed and is working as specified. Also my brother installed in his Maverik too. I am flat towing with my Entegra 2023

I purchased the BX8848 wiring harness and installed it in a 2020 KIA soul. It worked fine until my cable from tow vehicle to KIA became loose and rubbed on the pavement. This shorted out my diodes. I replaced the cable from tow vehicle and installed new HD diodes in KIA with no further issues.
