Can Demco Hijacker Autoslide Work with Alliance Avenue All Access 23ML

Updated 04/15/2026 | Published 04/02/2026

Question:

1. Does the DM79GV require a capture plate? If yes, does it come with it? 2. Is the Alliance Avenue All Access 23ML compatible with the DM79GV hitch?

Hey Randy, unlike the PullRite fifth wheel hitches the Demco Autoslides like the part # DM79GV that you referenced do not require capture plates. These attach directly to the pin box by clamping to the sides. This would be compatible with your Alliance Avenue All Access 23ML. Does your camper have a cushioned pin box?

Thanks for the response. I don't know about the pin box yet. I have requested the hitch/king pin information from the camper salesman.

@RandyS Let me know when you hear what it is. It's most likely fine though.

@JamesonC Instead of waiting on the salesman to return info, I went to Alliance website and found the User Guide for the Alliance Avenue All Access models and found: Alliance fifth wheel trailers are shipped standard with a conventional fifth wheel pin box. All documentation on hitching, unhitching, etc., relate to the use of these pin boxes. CURT Rota-Flex Pin box The listing from eTrailer website shows that Rota Flex does require a locking plate: Application Application: 2020 and newer Chevrolet and GMC trucks with factory-installed towing prep package Designed for use on: 6-1/2' truck beds Fits standard pin boxes: 12" - 14" wide Locking plates (sold separately) are required for use with: Glide Ride, Mor Ryde, Trailair Tri Glide, Trailair Flexair, Rota Flex, Lippert Road Armor, and 5th Airborne pin boxes. If I find anything different from the salesman I will forward to you.

@RandyS Glad we figured that out! Since it's a Rota Flex the correct capture plate would be the part # DM6171.
