Question:

Can you give me the weight head and base separately if they come apart, and overall size of the Demco Autoslide 18K for 2023 GM 2500 with the OEM puck system. Thanks you.

Hey Greg, yes, I can definitely help with that. The head and the base of the Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch # DM79GV can be separated. The head weighs about 60 lbs by itself. The base by itself is about 185 lbs. The side plates (which can also be separated) are about 45 lbs for both. You are looking at about 290 lbs altogether.

As far as dimensions, the base is approximately 35 inches long x 31 inches wide. The height can be adjusted to 15-1/4 inches, 16-1/2 inches or 18 inches.

Also, I can confirm the Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch # DM79GV is the correct model for your 2023 GMC 2500 with the OEM puck system. I hope this helps and just comment below if you need anything else.
