Question:
I have an early Pace enclosed car trailer with the Dexter 5200lbs axles dual. It has the manual adjusted brakes. Current brakes are 12 x 2 inch under 6 lug drum with 5 bolt attachment for backing plate. Will the Dexter part number 23-464 and 23-465 brake assemblies work fit my axle combination??????? I have purchased numerous backing plate assemblies from you folks in the past and I need a better quality.

Hey John! Yes, you can use the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Assembly # 23-464 and # 23-465 with your setup. These fit the same drums and brake flange you have now. Are you wanting the higher 7k rating as well? You can take it down to 6k using # 23-458 and # 23-459 and save yourself a little money.
