Hello Tom, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the 24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier # e98874 will work with your 2025 Sprinter 3500 as long as you’ve got a 2" hitch receiver on the van, which most of those do.
The big thing to think through on a Sprinter is rear door access. This carrier does tilt away, which helps a lot, but with a van like yours that has wide-opening rear doors, clearance can still be tight depending on what you’ve got loaded. If the carrier is empty or lightly loaded, you’ll usually be able to open the doors with it tilted. Once you start stacking gear like coolers, bins, or a generator, that’s when you may find yourself needing to unload or partially shift things to get full access. Also worth keeping in mind is how far the carrier sits back, that extra distance can add a bit of leverage on the hitch, so securing your load well and keeping weight centered will help keep things stable and minimize movement while driving.

Thank you, Jesse. I’m not as concerned about the door access as I am concerned about the strain & force from being bounced around on a hitch that extends further behind the rear axle. I’m primarily carrying a small 50lb generator, some camping gear, recreational gear, etc. I probably won’t exceed 200-250lbs.
