Hey, Martin. Thanks for your question.

The correct replacement locking knob for your Thule EasyFold XT # TH903202 is part # TH79JV. This will thread in properly and give you that secure, anti-rattle clamp.

To move your lock core from the old knob to the new one, you will also need the Universal Change Key for Thule Locks # TH42BJ. The lock will need to be in the unlocked position. Once it’s unlocked, you can use the change key to remove the lock core and install it into the new knob.

Hey Martin, great service by Etrailer, having product and fast shipping. As described the 'locking knob' is easily removed from rack. You do need special key to remove lock cylinder. Only takes a few minutes to make the switch, then good to go. On another note I tried numerous times to contact Thule and get service. Thule fails in customer service. There are obvious parts on Thule products the obviously may need to be replaced. Thule fails by not supplying parts for their expensive hike racks. Any questions please reach out. cheers ??

@Don You're right, Don! You're talking about the change key. That's what helps you remove the lock core and then install it into the new knob, or any other Thule product that has a lock. Also, I'm sorry to hear that you had that kind of experience with Thule. If you ever have any sort of issues with any Thule part, we can always help out.
