Don’t order this item. Says “universal” for Rola key cores and this is what happens when you use it.

This item is a change key that is used to remove an existing, unlocked lock cylinder so that it can be replaced. It will only work if the lock cylinder is unlocked, it is NOT a master key.

How Can I Determine If The Replacement Universal Change Key for Rola Lock Cores Will Work For Me?
Hello Jonathan, I can help with that. The R series Rola locks will have the letter "R" followed by 2 digits stamped on the face of the lock core itself. So, for example if your lock core has "R08" stamped on the face, then it is an R series. If there is no letter R prefix, or no number at all, the Universal Change Key # 59321 should work.

Availability of Replacement Key for Rola R09 Lock Core
Since you have the R09 the only replacement key choices that you have is to either have a locksmith come out and make you some spare keys, or you're going to have to drill out any lock cores you have and replace them with a 1 core set like part # 59319009 using the Universal Change Key # 59321 or the 8 core set # 59316. The replacement keys for the R09 lock core have unfortunately been discontinued.
