Hi Pat! Yes, the etrailer Trailer Hitch # e89YR will fit your 2024 Ford Escape Active. This fits all models of the 2024 Escape with the exception of the PHEV. This Class III hitch has a 2" receiver and a bolt-on installation. It also features a matte black finish to help hide dirt and scratches.

Will you be using the hitch for a bike rack, towing, or something else?

@PatB you're welcome, sounds good. I did see that you just ordered the # TS46RR. If you're trying to add a 4-way to the Escape to go with the hitch that isn't the right part. You need the # C55VV. If you're trying to replace some existing 4-way connectors on a trailer and vehicle disregard.

I don't tow anything but wife and I bike, so I use the hitch for a two e-bike rack. I didn't include electrical hook-up with my hitch. This is the 3rd hitch I've purchased from e-trailer for 3 different cars over the years. Installation was straightforward and so easy that I, a 78 year old man at the time, installed it in about 1/2 hour.
