Question:
Which least expensive rooftop fan is reversable? Ideally Maxx Aire

Hi Warren, great question and you’re right to double check this because not all MaxxAir fans are actually reversible.
The least expensive fan option we carry that does have true reversible airflow is the MaxxFan Plus part # MA00-04000K which is made by MaxxAir. This one gives you both intake and exhaust, along with multiple speed settings and a built in thermostat, and it fits the standard 14 by 14 roof opening so it’s a straightforward swap for most setups. It’s also a solid choice if you’re trying to keep things simple.
Some of the lower priced MaxxAir fans only exhaust air unless you add additional switches, so this is about the entry point where you get full control without having to piece anything together.
How do you plan to use the fan most, pulling in cool evening air or exhausting heat after cooking?
