Question:
I have a parallax 7455. Is the PD4655V the right replacement?
asked by: Tyler W
Expert Reply:
It is not Tyler but I have one that is. I checked with Progressive Dynamics and to replace your Parallax 7455 converter, you'll need the Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger item # PD79RR. It has charge profiles for Lithium batteries as well as lead acid and AGM.
The Progressive Dynamics item # PD79RR measures 8" x 9" x 3-5/8". It's typically mounted outside of your power center but we have had people make it fit in the spot they removed their old converter from.
Did your converter go out or are you planning on upgrading to lithium?

I agree with Jerred. The 9300 is a great replacement. I put the 9300 in my motorhome a year ago and it has performed beautifully. Very happy with it. I live in the motorhome full time and the converter is used everyday. Also you can't beat etrailers price and shipping was fast and convenient. Highly recommend!
