You have two different hitches for the front mount for a 2004 chevy 2500hd,, what is the differences.. why buy one over the other? One is 205 and the other is like 235..

Hi Brett!
The Curt # 31108 and the Draw-Tite # 65028 are very similar to each other. Both will indeed fit your 204 Chevy Silverado 2500HD and install the exact same way. The only appreciable difference between them is where they are made.
The Curt is made in the US (though they use hardware from overseas) and the Draw-Tite is not. Other than that, they are identical. That would likely explain the difference in the price.

I bought it to use to hold my winch that i put in a cradle so the winch could be taken out when not in use and out of the weather
