Question:
Does the SnapPad actually make a difference or is it just cosmetic? I’m looking at e72QV vs e22QV and trying to decide if it’s worth it.

Tyler, great question - and it’s definitely more than cosmetic.
The etrailer electric trailer jacks # e72QV and # e22QV are mechanically identical 3,500 lb jacks. Same motor, same lift height of 18", same 7-way plug power. The only difference is that the # e22QV includes the SnapPad in the kit.
The SnapPad:
-Expands the footprint to about 7-3/4" diameter
-Helps prevent sinking in gravel, sand, or soft soil
-Adds grip on wet surfaces
-Protects concrete or asphalt from metal foot marks of jack foot
If you’re mostly on level concrete pads, the # e72QV will absolutely do the job. If you park on gravel, dirt, grass, or uneven surfaces even occasionally, the SnapPad is a worthwhile upgrade.
Tyler, what kind of surfaces are you usually parking on? That’ll make the decision pretty straightforward.
