Hey James. The 7-way cord is 4' long on the etrailer Electric Trailer Jack item # e72QV. This is a 3,500 lbs tongue weight capacity jack that fits a standard A-Frame bolt pattern. It has a total lift height of 18".

We also have the etrailer Electric Trailer Jack item # e22QV, which is the same jack it just comes with a SnapPad. If you regularly park on gravel, dirt, grass, or uneven surfaces, this would be a good upgrade.

What kind of trailer do you have?

Jerred H What is the dimension from the top of the mounting plate to the top of the unit? 18 to 20"? Also, I asked about whether this unit comes with a cover for the top, does it? I am lean towards to the following model unit that has the snap pad. etrailer Electric Trailer Jack w/ 7-Way and SnapPad - Drop Leg - A-Frame - 18" Lift - 3.5K I am looking to us this on my boat trailer. Thank you kindly, James

@James From the mounting bracket to the top of the etrailer Electric Trailer Jack item # e72QV is 20" tall. It's the same distance on the etrailer Jack item # e22QV that comes with the SnapPad. Neither of these jacks include a cover but you can purchase one separately with our etrailer Protective Cover item # e27VV.
