Question:
Can you switch the top clips around to hook on a “backwards” ibeam? My 25ft class c Minnie Winnie has an ibeam on the back by the hitch. The ibeam is more of an L beam with the bottom of the L pointing toward to middle of the trailer on both sides. I don’t see any other usable ibeams underneath. Thanks!

Hey, Dee.
The MORryde I-Beam Mounted Stabilizer part # MR96RV is designed to hook onto the outer lip of a standard I-beam. Each top bracket grabs the outside edge of the beam, and once both legs are in place, the ratchet strap pulls the legs toward each other.
That inward tension is what makes the system stable. The strap keeps the legs from spreading apart and forces the feet firmly against the ground, creating a solid triangular support under the RV.
If the brackets were flipped to hook on the inside of the beam, the strap would no longer pull the legs in the correct direction. Without that proper inward tension, the legs would not lock tightly against the frame and the stabilizer would not function as intended.
If you have a hitch on the back of your Minnie Winnie, another option would be the MORryde Hitch Mounted Stabilizer # MR22AR. It works on the same stabilization principle but mounts to the hitch instead of the frame.
We also carry the Valterra Folding Manual Stabilizer part # 020106. This is a no-drill option, but you’ll want to confirm you have between 14" - 28" of clearance from the frame to the ground for it to fit properly.
I’ve included videos on both of those options so you can see how they install and decide what would work best for your setup.
What kind of trips do you have planned so far for the up coming season?
