Campsites are not always level, so the stabilizer legs need room to match the ground. The adjustable legs let you set the proper height and angle, and the safety guidance recommends positioning the telescoping leg as close to vertical as possible for maximum stability.
Power drill operation is the quick setup method, but you can still operate the stabilizer manually if a drill is not available. A manual crank can be used for backup operation, but crank LC285324 is sold separately.
