Question:
I am looking for a weight distribution system to pair my 2013 Tacoma TRD off-road 4x4 with factory tow package with a 2025 JAYCO JAY FLIGHT SLX SPORT 170BH dry weight 2955lbs. My truck is slightly lifted maybe inches, and has LT265/75R16 123/120R tires. I was looking at the following: Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Trunnion - 6,000 lbs GTW, 600 lbs TW Please let me know if this would be a good pairing or if a better option is suggested. And let me know if you need any additional information to help. I’m also not trying to spend 1,000 dollars on it. Thank you, Tyler

Hey Tyler, thanks for reaching out. You are on the right track here. The 6K Fastway e2 WD system # FA92-00-0600 is a great choice for your 2025 Jayco Jay Flight SLX Sport 170bh.
The Fastway system is designed for trailers with a tongue weight between 250 and 600 lbs and with your dry weight being 2,955 you'll be right within that tongue weight range. This means you'll get the ride leveling and sway control results you are looking for.
The included shank has 2-3/4" of drop. If you need more than that to level your trailer, you can get a larger shank like part # FA92-02-4214 (5-1/2" drop) or part # FA92-02-4315 (9-3/4" drop).
You'll also need a ball, assuming you need a 2" you can use part # A-90.

Hi tyler, i purchased this set up originally for my 2014 grand cherokee pulling coleman 17B. It was and still is a great set up. Helped immensly with the ride, made it so much nicer to tow. Easy install, very heavy duty . Hardest part honestly was just doing the final getting it set so everything was level. Just a lot of running around the vehicle making small adjustments, but the instructions were great. I highly recommend it. It should be perfect for your current vehicle.
