Question:
The brake relay kit you reference will not work with my 23 f150 because it has no brake light switch. And the the converter you sell to separate the turn signal and brake signal is for incandescent lights. How do I keep my truck brake light from overriding the turn signal?

Hey, Jim.
We have received some information recently that any 2023 and newer Ford F-150 wont be able to use the Brake-Lite Relay part # RM-88400. I've gone ahead and linked where a customer shared their findings but I'll also and include it in a quote below as well.
"Neither the brake light relay or stop light switch worked with my F-150. I confirmed with Roadmaster that for Ford F150's 2023 and newer, the brake light relay is no longer an option. The wiring harness and computer have changed. The only option for 2023 and new trucks is to close the doors and wait 10 minutes for the "timeout feature" to kick in. Once the truck goes to sleep, the supplemental braking system and press the brake pedal without activating any electrical signal. The signals work fine coming from the RV wiring and there is no override to worry about. The key thing for users to note here is that for 2023 and newer fords, Brake light relays are no longer applicable. You have to wait 10 minutes for the truck computer to go to sleep, then you can flat tow without any wiring issues."
Sorry that we didn't know this information sooner to be able to put in some web updates. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Hey Jim, did the timeout method on your 2023 F-150 end up solving the brake light override issue when flat towing? Knowing how it worked for you could really help others with the same truck setup.
