Best Weight Distribution Recommendation for LIV 201 QB Trailer

Question:
Good Morning, Looking for advice/recommendation for weight-distributing hitch. Tow vehicle: 2024 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 TT: LIV 201 QB UVW 2,500 lbs GVW 3,500 lbs Tongue weight 410 lbs. Single axle, no brakes. The Tacoma is a disappointing tow vehicle, even for this lightweight trailer. I have a basic WD hitch now, with no sway control. Very concerned about sway although it is not a problem yet as we havent been on long stretches of interstate, but plan to. Would like to step up to a WD hitch with dual cam sway control. The appropriate BandW swaypro is interesting, but I wonder if there is an appropriate Criterium model Im somewhat concerned about needed ground clearance I would trade a little sway control for ease of connection. Would appreciate your thoughts!

Hey Steve, we would be glad to help! Since you are wanting a much better sway control setup the best solution would be the Reese Strait Line system part # RP65FR. This would be correct tongue weight rating for your trailer based on what you mentioned and it has the best sway control that works to fight sway before it starts. The Blue Ox Swaypro system isn't bad either but it's going to be more like what you already have.
Is your trailer sitting level and has plenty of tongue weight? Getting those two things sorted out will do the best job at fighting sway.

Hey Steve, how did things go with the Reese Strait Line system on your Tacoma and trailer? Did it give you the sway control and ground clearance you were hoping for? Your update could make it easier for the next person towing a similar setup.
