Question:
Would this work BPH85RR with a reese torsion type weight distribution hitch? I measured the hole spacing on the existing shank at 1 1/2 inches. If this does not work do you have something else that would work reese??

Hey Ken, thanks for the pictures. That's the Reese Weight Dist Shank item # RP54970 in your pictures. It has standard adjustment bolt holes spaced 1-1/4" center to center.
The BulletProof Hitches Weight Distribution Shank for 3" Hitches item # BPH85RR would be a compatible replacement to the Reese Weight Dist Shank item # RP54970 in your pictures. I do not have any weight distribution shanks with 1-1/2" adjustment hole spacing.
The BulletProof Hitches Weight Distribution Shank item # BPH85RR is designed to fit a 3" hitch receiver. It has a 22,000 lbs capacity and will give you 9" of drop or rise. I attached a diagram below so you can see all the dimensions.
What kind of trailer do you have?

Jerred, Can you please tell me the dimension across (side to side) of the part that has the holes? I have a picture illustrating my question but couldn't figure out how to attach to this message. Thank you kindly Ken

I use the bullet proof 3in shank with my Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control - 16,000 lbs GTW, 1,600 lbs TW Part Number: EQ64FR While towing our 12k camper. It’s nice not using the stupid adapters to accommodate the normal 2 in shanks. I’ve pulled the camper on several 1000+ mile trips with no issues. The only negative thing is this how heavy this is once attached to the distribution hitch. But it’s solid. The holes lined up perfectly with the equalizer hitch.
