Hello neighbor, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our BulletProof hitch weight distribution shank for three inch by three inch hitches. So folks, this shank will slide into your hitch receiver that's three inch by three inch, and provide a nice attachment point for your weight distribution systems head assembly. Now it is designed for use with most weight distribution systems. You can see it's got nine adjustment holes for attaching the head assembly. And it's gonna let you level your trailer with your tow vehicle as well by using that weight distribution.
You have seven drop or rise positions available to fit your application. That's because it takes two pins to make one adjustment. So there's nine holes, but you only get seven different options because two pins per option. Now this has a maximum gross trailer weight of 22,000 pounds, a maximum tongue weight of 3,000 pounds. As you can see, you get the pin and clip included with it.
Now as far as some measurements, let me get my ruler here. Now this is a 13-inch ruler, just so you're aware. I get 12 1/2 inches tall on the tallest spot. And overall on a width, I get right at 12 inches long. Now the holes are spaced 1 1/4 inches apart, center on center.
And the distance of the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of these adjustment holes, I was getting right about eight inches. Now the center of these holes all the way back, I was getting nine inches. This shank is a great fit for the 3" receiver on my F350. In addition, the 9 hole adjustment allows me further downward adjustment to level out my travel trailer with the Fastway WDH.
