Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2025 GMC Sierra 2500 with OEM Pucks

Question:
Hello I am looking for a bandw 5th wheel hitch for my new rig. a 2026 Alliance 25rl GVWR: 10,995 lbs Dry Weight: ~8,700 - 8,932 lbs Hitch Weight: ~1,350 lbs I dont want a slider. I was looking at the 20,000 lb I have the puck system installed. my question is is this hitch to big for my rig will it make it a rougher ride thanks

Hey Theodore, the B and W Companion hitch part # BWRVK3710 that you referenced will be a great hitch to use with your 2026 Alliance 25RL and the OEM pucks of your 2025 GMC Sierra 2500. This is widely considered to be the best hitch around so you'll really like it. The fact that it is rated a lot higher than you need would not be an issue either. It would work just as well and be just as quiet and smooth as if the trailer was heavier. Looks like you already bought the hitch though so you made the right choice and you'll really like it!
