Features to Know About

RV Swivel Chair

Kick back in the swivel recliner (Shown in Dellmead)

When you pull into the campground and finally park, this chair is where you sit to stretch and take in the quiet before unpacking or getting on with your evening. It's light enough to move on your own but feels steady once it's in place, and you can swivel towards your view or conversation without dragging the floor or fighting the base. The leather-like PolyHyde gives this chair an elevated look and feel while also being low maintenance, so you don't have to worry about messing it up if you spill a drink, drop some food, or have a pet that enjoys naps there; it wipes clean. Plus, it fits through a 26" doorway and sets up in minutes so you can relax and enjoy your space - though your dog or cat may claim it before you do.

Video Transcript for Review of Thomas Payne RV Couches and Chairs - Euro RV Recliner Chair Footrest Driftwood - TP62TR

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Thomas Payne Euro RV recliner chair with footrest. Now, if you ever wanted to make your RV feel a little bit more like home, this Euro RV recliner chair is really gonna be a great way to do it. And it gives you a touch of a modern style as well, unlike some other typical furniture types that you see not only inside of RVs, but inside of the home as well. Now, this is in the Driftwood color, and we'll talk a little bit more about that. But this is gonna, I think, blend in with most decor inside of your living space, inside of your RV or camper.

And people usually buy a chair like this because it does indeed strike a balance between comfort, practicality, but also good, stylish looks as well. Now, this is pretty lightweight. It weighs about 50 pounds. I really didn't have any problems getting this into my studio and getting it set up here. But this is still going to be sturdy and supportive enough to handle the rigors of going down the road inside of your camper.

And this does have high-density foam cushions that are going to allow you to take advantage of a comfortable and stylish place to sit. I will let you know that it doesn't sink in like a lot of other recliners do. This is more of a firm sitting experience, so if you're looking for something that's a little bit more relaxing, or a little more cushy, I guess, maybe you wanna look at something that's more like a fuller recliner, and we do have those options here from Thomas Payne. So, if this isn't exactly what you're looking for, I'm confident you'll be able to find what you need. One downside for me is this does not rock or glide.

I do prefer a rocking recliner or a gliding chair. But it does swivel, which is awesome. You can swivel 360 degrees, so you're gonna be able to take advantage of wherever the view is, and you can literally stay in one place. This is going to be very easy to recline. We do have a lever, right here.

Hopefully, you can see that. It reminds me of the inside door handle on some of those older cars. So, if you want to have the footrest out, you're just going to pull that back. Then, that's gonna push the footrest out, and then you can fully recline if you want. One thing I wanted to mention is you don't have to have the footrest out to recline the back, so that's a nice touch. A lot of chairs, you do have to have the footrest out as well. Let's talk about the upholstery. Now, this is Thomas Payne's durable PolyHyde vinyl. It's supposed to look like leather, but it's not. It's their PolyHyde vinyl. And this is in the Driftwood color, so this is a soft, neutral, light-to-medium tan with some warm undertones. It's somewhat like weathered or sun-bleached driftwood. It's soft to the touch. It's gonna look like leather, it's gonna feel like leather, but it'll be vinyl, and it'll be easy to clean up spills and things like that, so I think it's gonna be pretty easy to maintain. And it doesn't feel like cheap vinyl. It feels good. It's got a good feeling to it. So, when I say vinyl, don't think I'm talking about some cheap vinyl material. That's not what this PolyHyde is at all. Let's talk measurements. The overall height when it's upright, just like this, from top to bottom, about 40" tall. And then, looking at the length, we're sitting pretty close to right at about 33" or so. And then, looking at what I'm calling the depth, here, again, when it's in the upright position, about 30", 30 1/2" or so. And then, when you have it fully reclined, from the top of the head to the end of the footrest, about 61". Some of our neighbors have asked about this seat. When looking at what I'm gonna call the width and the depth, it's right at 20". And then, the height from the top of the seat to the ground, about 18". Now, this'll fit through your 26" wide or wider entry doors. You will have to put this together. There is some assembly required. If I remember correctly, you do have to, obviously, put the back in the base and hook up the arms as well. It does come with hardware and a hex wrench, and so, you should have it put together in under 30 minutes or so. It's probably a good idea to wait to assemble it when you actually have it inside of your RV or camper, just so you don't have to worry about fitting this through tight spaces or anything like that. This does have a wood base that really looks great. Again, just a really classy look to a chair, and I'm a big fan of the swivel as well. We do have this available in other upholstery material and color, so if this isn't exactly what you're looking for, this Driftwood, we do have other options. If you happen to have any other questions, don't hesitate to give us a ring. We do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
